Hey guys.

I play 4 tables of $2/$4, and therefore would like to have a bankroll of $2000 US.

However, sometimes I play 5/10 or $8/$16, or NLHE $100, even $10/$20 depending on game conditions.

My roll is about $8000 USD.

The Canadian dollar has been rising for quite some time now, and I'm curious about whether nor not I should withdraw maybe $5k US into my canadian bank account, to protect it from erosion due to an increasing Canadian dollar.

Alternatively, I guess I could move to the US, but that's not really practical (and would work out to being far more costly than the currency erosion). /images/graemlins/smile.gif

So, do any of you guys have any idea on where the $CDN might be headed in the near future vs the $US?

This is painful stuff... two months ago I was getting $1.25 per $1 and now I'm getting $1.16. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Add to this the idea that Neteller scalps me 2.5% for converting, and this money will never be turned back into $US (it'll be spent on a car first).

You could always setup an FX account to hedge the currency directly.
