Hi all,

I'm going to be in the Portland, OR area in a couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure there is no poker in Oregon but are there any card rooms in Vancouver WA. Inquiring minds want to know. thanks /forums/images/icons/club.gif

There is poker in Oregon. Spirit Mountain ( www.spirit-mountain.com (http://www.spirit-mountain.com)) is not to far from Portland. Nice room. Non-smoking. I can't think of the room close to vancouver.

Thanks Ken,

I've been to the Oregon Indian Casino's in Canyonville, Coos Bay and Lincoln City and none of them had poker so I assumed, and you know what happens when you assume. I'll give it a try, I particularly like the no smoking part. I'm still interested in Vancouver poker rooms if anyone else happens to know of any. /forums/images/icons/club.gif

I played in La Center WA a few years ago, a couple of cardrooms spreading about 12 tables up to 10/20 on weekends, if I recall correctly. It's closer than Spirit Mountain.

You could try these links:

I've no idea how up-to-date they are. I'm just bored at work and have a vague idea of going to Vancouver some time.
Best, NG.

Hi Nicky,
Vancouver, WA is right above the border from Oregon, and about 5 hours from Vancouver, British Columbia!!

Dan

P.S. Vancouver, BC is possibly the prettiest city I've ever been too. SKP and others that post here may be able to give you a headsup on where to play in BC.
