I just sat down at a 4/8 game in my local casino. I'm in the small with K8s and 3 people limp, I call, and the big blind checks.
The flop is T 8 2 with two to a suit (not mine however, I just have the 8s) and I check, the big blind bets, two people limp and I call for a turn. Turn is another T - I check, the BB checks, limpers check and the river is blank. I check, the BB bets, folded to me and I call.
I'm wondering whether my call on the flop was justified, with 8 small bets in the pot. By the river, with rake there would be 4 or 5 big bets in there depending on how much the house have taken, and I feel it is a pretty clear cut call at the end.
Have I found a good spot to put my money in or have I gone fishing?
