Sorry - quick spyware Q

I'm sure it's been done and I know this belongs in Comp Help or whatever. But there is nobody browsing that forum at 3:50 AM and I have so many popups right now I think I may throw my computer through the window first.

Can someone please recommend to me the best anti-spyware program that I can download to remove pop-up causing spyware, etc? The lower cost the better but I just want something pretty effective. I'll be wiping this laptop when I get home but I'm traveling right now and it's driving me bonkers.

Ad-aware by lavasoft, definitely.

Also, you might wanna look into getting the Google toolbar. It has some really good popup blocking features.
