2/4 nl. Short handed (4 of us). Folded to me on the button, and I make it 16 with Qs4s. Only the big blind calls, and we see a flop of:

Qd 5s 6s,

giving me top pair and flush draw. He checks to me (around 30 in pot, and both have 300-ish stacks). I pot it (30), and he raises another 70. I have no read on villain, and push.

Obviously, he has a set of 5`s that hold up, and I'm left wondering if I've just pulled off donk move of the century (given the stack sizes) - anyone like to comment?

I don't like the push, really. To call your pre-flop raise he has to have AT LEAST AQ and clearly better. And while I don't know if a small pocket pair like 55 is great for calling a raise with, he obviously saw you're PFR as a position raise and figured he was way ahead in the hand. So to push your top pair with such a weak kicker and the Q-high flush draw? Eh.
