Disregarding the argument between calvinists and arminians for a moment I would like to introduce two different views of predestination.

1. The first view is Double Predestination. This states that God not only predestines some to heaven but also predestines them to Hell.

2. The second and I beleive more accurate veiw is that God only predestines some to Hevean and none to Hell. The people Go to Hell because they just didn't choose God. God just let these people get what they deserved.

You have now left the Calvinist ranks and have a foot in the door of another protestant denomination like the episcopal or methodist church, if not the catholic church. Open the door and leave Calvin and Zwingli behind you.

I take my words back. I must have not been thinking clearly.

I went and read some article by R.C. Sproul here link (http://www.the-highway.com/DoublePredestination_Sproul.html) where he points out the distinctions between double and single predestination.

I know realize the faults in my thinking and am sorry for litering the forum.
