I'm just having this indecision at the moment - I don't know which is my favorite Elvis Presley song - either That's Alright, Momma or In the Ghetto - but I honestly can't decide which is better -

take the poll, then put your favorite Elvis Presley song below

Where's the option for "I respect him but don't listen to his music. Ever."

nothing personal -

it wasn't a do you like/don't a like question - I just wanted people to pick their favorite of those two particular songs -

(though in retrospect, I forgot about Suspicious minds - I was looking for that late career hit and that's the one that came in my head)

For the record I didn't vote. But yeah, sorry. I'm drunk.

Always thought "Jailhouse Rock" was a cool song.

We're caught in a trap
I can't walk out
Because I love you too much baby
Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
When you don't believe a word I say

We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
And we can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds

So if an old friend I know
Stops by and says hello
Would I still see suspicion
In your eyes
Here we go again
Asking where I've been
Can't you see these tears are real
I'm crying

Oh let our love survive
Dry the tears from your eyes
Let's not let a good thing die
When honey you know
I never lied to you
Ohhh yeah, ohhh yeah

It's either That's Alright, Mama or Mess Of Blues.

Probably Mess of Blues.

Have you heard the Sun Sessions album? It's good.

I always liked A Little Less Conversation, but I think that it's mostly because of this remix of it that I heard a little while ago that was really good. It wasn't like a crazy remix, I think it was basically just rereleased with some new instrumentation.

Who voted for "In the Ghetto" and why?

Although his version of Unchained Melody is an unintentional comedy gold mine.

i know it's not an elvis original, but he really pwns "old mcdonald." i love his version.

as for your poll, i have to go with in the ghetto just because of how he says it: "in the ghettOOOO."
