Building on what Surfbullet introduced here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=3320603&page=0&view=colla psed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1&vc=1#Post3320603) , i just wanted to ask other 2+2ers if they'd be interested in helping.
The 2+2 community as a whole is young and flush with disposable income. It'd be nice to do something good with it, i think. So what I did is I wrote down, to the penny, what was in my online account this morning before I started playing, and cashed out my exact profit (which happened to be $215.09 after a session at .5/1 NL)for the day and sent it to the Red Cross's 2005 Hurricane Relief fund.
The net result is the same as if I just took the day off from poker.
Today is a national holiday, which means a lot of recreational players, aka fish, at our tables. It'd be nice to use this day as a "day off" and send what we can.
If you can't spare the whole day's profit, then half, or an hour's worth, or $25 would be appreciated, I'm sure.
I just think it'd be a nice thing to do. I hope at least some of you agree.

Thanks.
