Question about this forum software

How do I get it so that if I click on a topic in the post listing, that I get the first post on page one of that topic?

I always find it jumps to some random post for the initial load, sometimes a few pages in, and then I have to scroll up or get to the first page to read the OP.

click page one, that will take you to the first post. The software usually takes you to the last post you haven't read.

Do you know if it's possible to get it to take me to page one, post one, every single time?

It's taking me to the "last post" since I viewed the forum I gather, even if I've never looked at the thread.

Click page 1 instead of the thread topic. Threads with more than 1 page have the page numbers listed.

Even if I click on a topic with only one page, I often am taken way down to some reply somewhere.

I have the same problem as you. I just ignore it though.
