I can't think of many people who would be comfortable having a million dollars at an online poker site. (I'm assuming a 100k-200k buy in for a 500/1000 game).

probably now, but in about 2-3 yrs it should change.

You are over estimating the long term viability of this online poker boom. I would be willing to bet games this high won't be seen at any significant number of sites ever. Lower limits are the bread and butter of poker sites anyway.

Yeah, there's actually a pretty convincing argument that sites wouldn't want to spread a limit this high even if they could fill it with players. They're not making much, if any more on rake by spreading those limits, but their fish are busting out much much much faster than at the lower limits.

World Sports Exchange had the biggest limit games at one time and they were destroyed by a bunch of pros for that reason. How long can a player sustain 10K losses, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet aside..... /images/graemlins/grin.gif
