I've just been looking at the list of single table matches on one of the sites I use and they have a jackpot sng game where you get $15k if you finish first in 4 games in a row [buyin $5+75]

Is this even possible...

yeah this is definitely possible, i've done it before, but it is really hard to do. Sounds like @ 5+75 you're paying a little too much to the rake /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nope, its a mathematically proven fact that you can't win 4 SNG's in a row...

Chances of an Average Player Winning 4 SNG's in a Row:

(1/10) ^ 4 = 1 / 10,000

It's possible, even for an average player.

If you win once in ten, you'll win four in a row once in 10,000 (10*10*10*10)

If you win once in seven, you'll win four in a row once in 2401 (7*7*7*7)

Thanks to pokercharts I know I finish first once in every 7 games, my most common finish is 2nd place.

Don't you think the other guy would throw the game for $1000?

I bet he would for as little as $100 too. However, im sure that the pokersite you're playing wouldnt appreciate this and find something to make your winning get cancelled.
