Is Online Sportsbook Betting Legal in My State ?

I am not a big player but do enjoy sports betting and have made some wagers online at a couple of different sites. I live in Ky and I am sure this isn't legal in my state ?

Just wanted some opinions, I know it would probably be something that would never get me in trouble but wanted to see what you guys had to say about it.

I've never heard of anyone from any state ever getting in trouble for wagering online. So you should be safe.

i believe that it is illegal in all states as online wagering uses telephone lines, etc, that cross state lines, and therefore it becomes a federal issue. the federal government hates anything it can't tax, so i believe it's per se illegal. however, the government truly cares about those that set up the books, not the guy that's betting $20 spread over 5 games all weekend.
