Avatar help

Would like to use this as an avatar, but just copying the url into the avatar line in my preferences isn't getting it done. Any tech-savvy people want to help me?

I tried opening the file, and I got a forbidden access message. You probably have an account with Village Voice and you need to first save the file in an online photo repository, for example www.photobucket.com. (http://www.photobucket.com.) Use their save from url option to get the file into your account. Then paste the link they provide to your image and it should work.

I don't have an account with them, I found the image through google. Guess I should've just posted the picture origonally, here it is:

i right click your "non picture" and it says the url is http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/images.villagevoice.com/issues/0314/tracking.gif

i dont know why the forumserver.twoplustwo is there...
i did the same thing with my avatar but didnt have that problem.

It should be the right url if you take out the twoplustwo bit. I don't get why I'm the only one that can see it, either. Oh well...

Just move the photo to an online photo repository like I suggested and you won't have any further problems.
