Trust me. It's going to happen. Only REAL games left will be 5/10 and up or NL . I know because I've figured out how Poki works. It's hard not to figure it out when it's nearly completely written out in those publications. Get the money while you can. Oh sure, the good poker players will always have beatable games for about .4 BB /100 . You won't earn 3 BB/100 anymore online.

His thesis is 3 years old, and poker has only expanded greatly since he wrote it!

Sounds like you need to get a copy of Poker Academy 2 and learn a few things from the bots /images/graemlins/wink.gif

You have no problem with 5 poki-bots on each table then (modeling your every action) ?

Well, you've been warned. Only thing keeping the new breed of bots off the tables is processor speed. But, I doubt you know anything about that.

This is why I play PL08. Nobody would ever dream of writing a bot to play that game.

I have no problem with bots at the poker table, and neither should you. From an opponent perspective all you know is that they play fairly well, and you should treat them as you do any other fairly good player!

You should also know that bot play (as well as human play) has advanced siginificantly since he wrote that thesis.

I suggest you read thru all the bot threads that have popped up across the 2+2 forums recently, because of far more recent articles than a 3 year old thesis!
