Meh?? Villian was agro-donk right out the gate. Any piece here was likely good. Would have liked to pop the river, assuming the J hit him. But plausible it gave him a better 2-pair.

Anyone take a different line?

Id reraise him on the flop.

If you knew he was donk, pop him on the flop.

EDIT: I just read he had nothing, and he's big stack. Id prolly pop him on the turn then since he's betting so low. Big stack donk would f*ck with you if you reraised him on the flop.

2nd EDIT: What if you didn't hit your J? Would you have called? You would have lost the pot probably. Did you really believe he had the Q, on flop and turn? Raise the turn and take it right there.

i see this alot, limped pot, minbet flop minbet turn, bump it up alot on the river
imo though what are you waiting for to see what he does on later streets, your stack is deep enough to do something like this though, so i like your line on this hand, i might raise to 500 on the flop to see what the villain is about

I think that your reverse implied odds are too high playing the hand this way, I'de just do the standard flop raise.

Raise the river. If he did have a Q you will probably get a call. Of course if he's bluffing then he will fold anyway...

But the big problem is that you are letting him try to hit his likely 6 outer cheap on the flop and turn. Raise.

If your pair was higher there's a better chance (i.e. nonzero) he would only be drawing to three outs and it might be smarter to try to trap.

Understand that you are losing money by letting him see cards and you just calling (with a pair of 2's). Yes I would raise the river, but not just call the flop, especially the turn.

Depending on your reads, raise the flop or turn.

I think it was played reasonably.
