I've been pushing a lot and have doubled up/stolen to get to 2nd in chips. The only marginal hand ive shown was 9Ts when i had about 800 in chips and I pushed and beat AQ when i flopped a straight. From then I had been pushing KQ, 99, QQ but none of them had been shown except for a KJs. Needless to say, the table probably thinks i am just bullying.

Blinds are at 75/150

UTG, the smallest stack, folds. I, on the button, am dealt AKo. The SB is 3rd in chips with about 1600 or so and the BB is the only player woh has me covered, and only by about 300.

I push.

Is this standard? Or should I just put in a normal raise?

My understanding is BB should fold most hands except big pairs if he's smart, but he might be willing to gamble with a medium ace or medium pair with how i've been pushing.

What's your call?

A flat-out open-push seems a bit much at these blinds. Hard telling though...exactly how many chips do you/villian have?

i have about 2200 and villain has 2500 or so.

Blinds may have been 100/200. I'm going to dig up the HH and find out exacts right now.

I'd raise to 400 instead. You're pushing way too early if you've been pushing all these hands at these levels. Probably lose all your FE right around the time you need it.

with 2200? yeah....easy push at 100/200. at 75/150 there could be an arguement made or a conservative 3-4x - calling a push from SB, folding to a push from BB, or playing the flop accordingly to a call.

edit: just saw your stack size post. 400ish is perfect IMO. i'm not calling a push-raise from either. you have a great hand & position...play it accordingly.
