Where to find online poker statistics

Hi guys, I'm doing an assignment for my journalism class and I was hoping to obtain some online poker statistics. Mainly hoping to see how many players there are at any given time playing online poker as well as how many different sites offer online poker. Does anybody know where I could find these statistics? I tried PokerPulse.com but I couldn't find those two, specifically. Any help is appreciated.

You can just log in as a guest at each one of the sites at various times during the day and write down the numbers.

Also, most of the big sites, post a live count on their webpage of how many people are online.

There might be an easier/better solution for this, but this one works and it is not that hard.

Alright, thanks. I thought PokerPulse was good for that stuff but I guess it didn't have what I needed.
