Say you are in the big blind with a small pocket-pair that doesn't improve on the flop, something like 33-77. Party 3/6 if it makes a difference.

Pre-flop:
UTG folds, MP calls, CO calls, Button raises, SB folds, you call with everyone else.

Flop: (8.5 SB)
Flop: T/images/graemlins/diamond.gifT/images/graemlins/club.gif2/images/graemlins/heart.gif
You check, MP checks, CO bets, Button raises, ...

You do what if you know or suspect:

1) Nothing in particular, you haven't seen anyone before.
2) Button looks taggy.
3) Button looks taggy and CO bluffs way too much.

Just fold and hope for a better hand next time or do you want to cold-call or 3-bet in any situation?

easy fold
If you are ahead you wont make much money of them since they were bluffing and you will still get drawn out a significant amount of the time.
If you are behind, good luck hitting your 2-outer.

I was actually button in this hand but wanted some opinions on what the raise would accomplish or not against someone with a clue. Thanks.
