Any male starting out as a professional poker player should search for a woman with a good job as a back-up plan. She should be low maintenance, and very accomodating about your schedule and willing to pick up the bills when things are running bad. Once you become a succesful poker player and make a signifigant amount of money you can dump her and search for a more meaningful relationship. After all, any woman who is willing to go out with a poker player must have some serious problems and shouldn't be taken seriously.

This reminds me of a quote I heard the other day.

"I would never join any club that would have me as a member."

That is not nice and is not true. Theres tons of singles poker players. Didn't see why this make sense when there are thousands of people that play poker without girl friends.

Whenever I see this I always think it means "You SUCKY" in a broken asian accent for some reason. I think it's funnier that way.

If you are relying on your girlfriend's income to pay the bills then you aren't a professional poker-player.
you are just an unemployed loser who plays poker.

The problem is the difficulty in execution.

This is a take off from a very old poker joke. It goes something like this:

What do you call a pro poker player who has lost his girlfried? HOMELESS

Another one along that line.

How do you get a pro poker player off your porch? PAY HIM FOR THE PIZZA

This reminds me of a joke I once heard...

What do you call a drummer without a girlfriend?
