i've been messin around tryin different stuff, any thoughts on whether to play 4x(25$NL) or 1x(100$NL)... ive been juggling back and forth,
personallyi find i do better on the 100$ NL but..... i dont multitable very much, but i feel that it would probably lower my variance by making more smaller +ev decisions with more confidence

anyone feel strongly towards one or another?

If you really think you do better on 100NL - play this untill youŽre comfortable playing multible tables on this limit. You donŽt have to start with 4 immediately - but if you profit on 1 100NL , youŽll be fine on 2 100NL tables as well...
But how bout trying 4x $50 first ?

Do you have the br for 100NL?

if you do, i would play 1 table and then add 1 here and there. eventually you'll be doing 4 and be bored with that.

Poker is about having fun and making profit. It sounds to me like you will be most profitable single tabling the 100's for the time being. Once you feel that one table is too boring for you, then you can start expanding.

Do realize that with each table you open, the less you will probably make per table. However, if you are one of the best players at your limit, your profit will still be higher by multitabling (in most cases).

If the 25nl is trivial for you by now (which it should be if you're going to 100nl), you might consider playing 2-3 tables of 25nl and 2-1 of 100nl to start. I personally don't like just jumping into 4-tabling a new limit.

Depends on your BR and your confidence, if your have >$1999 then by all means play as many tables of $100 as you want if you are confident you can beat them. With anything less than $2000 though I'd recommend you play the $25 or $50, depending on the size of your BR and your confidence.

yeah i have a sufficent bank roll for both limits that i mentioned, i could probably 4 table 50$ too but i prefer not to, i have a tendency to play lower limits htan my bank roll would suggest.
but im tryin to make more money faster! im gonna try to clear this 700 hand bonus, and see how much i win during that time.

Make sure that you are ready for the jump. The play will be more aggressive than you are used to and having to make a decision for a $200 pot is a far cry than making one for a $50 pot. Also just the average hand where at $25 NL you might bet your top pair hand to the tune of $2 - $3 you would now have to do the same for $7 - $10, nearly half your usual stack.

You may well be ready and this might not be an issue, but even if you have the bankroll for $100 NL, it might make more sense to at least get a few thousand $50 NL hands under your belt before moving up.

As to multi-tabling I think a good player leaves too much money behind him by not doing so. If your game relies heavily on reads (which at $25 is very difficult) then stick to 1 although 2 would not hurt you one little bit. Multi-tabling is a good way to negate swings as if you 4 table you often only need 1 good table to finish up for the session. It is hard to rebound from getting stacked at a table if you only have 1 table open with which to recover on.

I would either play 2x 100 or 2x 50. if you are comfortable at the 100s theres no reason to go back.

omg, i dont get it, i cant beat the 25$ NL... in the last few days, while clearin this bonus and other play, here are my stats.. 17% VPIP, went to showdown 23%, won $ @ SD 49%, PF raise.. 9%.. after 2k hands.

Can anyone guess how much money i've made.?
