Took about 10 tries but finally won it. Doubling up with KK twice in a row certainly helped.

Hope to be in the 33s full time before too long. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

When I won my first 55 I threw a big party and invited all my friends. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's about time. You've been ready to own the 33s for a while now. Now I can start asking why you aren't playing the 55s.

Congrats on your move up. I also made this move up recently. After treading water (win lose win lose etc.) I finally hit a little heater and am now ITMing at a "normal" rate. One thing for sure is I've never been called an idiot so much in my life. POOOOSH Ship it Bitches!

Unless I've got the wrong guy, IC5 has like 3243253153 $11s at 38% ROI or something. I wouldn't want him at my tables.

No, my 11s ROI sucked, it has been 2X as high in the 22s over the 11s in my past 2000 games. Sample size issue and variance most likely but my ROI at the 11s sucks.

Ok, then play at my tables. JK. Maybe it was 45suited I was thinking of.

Agreed... I was 12% over 1k 11s and 22.5% over 1.6k 22s. If you are anything like me I would skip strait to the $55s because I was 5% over 500 33s and have been 18% over 500 55s. The early play is better in the 55s but you can exploit the bad players more with the deeper stacks. The bubble play is either equal to or better in the 33s than the 55s in my opinion. I am routinely playing with 4 "pros" at a table in the 33s... there seems to be way more 'weak-tight' randoms in the 55s.

too lazy to count it up, but I had a 100% ROI for the 39 games that night, which is one of the biggest short-term heaters I have hit at any buy in

I'm sorry, but this statement is just stupid.

I disagree with you. I've played +1000 at both levels and the 55ers are way more aggressive and generally tougher on the bubble. Not to say that they aren't still über soft.

I've done better at the $33s than the $22s, but I don't think they were easier. Just sample size IMHO.

Being facetious, anyone? I was just saying that because I thought it was funny that someone else barely beat the $11s but tore up the $22s.

But seriously... in terms of pure $$$ there is no way that a good NL player (someone who knows the fundumentals of late game shallow stack play and can beat NL200 or higher for > 10BB/100) will make less money at the $55s than at the $33s over the long term. If you can handle the swings and have the bankroll then there is no reason not to move up right away... unless of course you aren't fond of money /images/graemlins/wink.gif
