Out of towners in LasVegas,Take this message to heart

Watch out for Las Vegas Metro police.Many are overly aggressive,extremly verbally abuse and want and will try to provoke physical confrontation if possible ,even for a routine traffic stop.BELIEVE IT.Zero tolerance is enforced with a vengence.Any encounter you have ,no matter how minor,will risk your physical well being.Avoid these steroided out storm troopers at all costs.This is the best advice I can give to tourists.

In two years in Vegas, I have never had an encounter with a LV Metro cop (and I look and sound like a tourist).

Maybe if you drive something the cruisers drive. Maybe if your SUV has too much chrome on the wheels.

My last trip to Vegas, I was in an accident with a rental car. I found the NHP officer helpful.

Maybe the some of the cops on the Metro Police are zealots (especially those who will block a lane on the Strip to investigate something silly).
