Even if villian flopped it we still have a very good draw. I call this.

Getting not much more than 1-1.3 to 1 odds on your call, not exactly the best ever. However, Im making this call, it should be a big payoff. I expect you in this type of situation to be ahead more often then your behind (why would he overbet the pot that much with the flush?) and even if your behind you have outs to the full house.

I would call. 35% to fill up by the river, and I'm sure a much better than 15% chance you win this UI.

Call and bust this moron. Then rub it in.

It's by no means an instant anything. I would probably ponder for a while and call. He knows that you don't have a flush. He knows that you might not even have a flush draw, so there's no reason for him to raise that big unless he wants you to fold. Unless... he knows that you know that he knows that you don't have a flush and is playing accordingly. But that's probably asking too much out of a NL100er. Hey, even if you're wrong, you still have a huge draw

hi ak....forgive me, how did you get 35%?

I highly doubt you are behind. Call.

A flopped set will improve 1 in 3 times.

Ok, thoughts confirmed. I suck. I waited to the last second and mucked em. I wasn't sure if calling was +ev and i guess if i didn't want to risk putting the money in there i shouldn't be playing. villan told me he had AQ, no spades.

I would not put to much faith in what villan said he had here.

Wow, if someone flopped a flush on me and I don't fill up here, they can have my money all day long.

Before you told me he said he had AQ, I was thinking he pulled this with KxK /images/graemlins/spade.gif or AxK /images/graemlins/spade.gif...seems more logical to try the overaggressive semi bluff

Good god please don't fold.

You have to be 85% sure he has a flush.
