World Poker Championships?

While watching CNN this past 30 minutes, the ticker at the bottom of the page said, "Alan Goehring of Las Vegas Nevada won the World Championships of Poker....".

We all know Alan won the WPT 25k. Does this mean the WSOP 10k is no longer the "World Poker Championships"?

Wellnow, that IS interesting. Cain't imagine Binion's being too happy about that, as I believe that they have all permutations of "World Poker Championships" copyrighted.

Maybe Alan should play the WSOP winner headsup(assuming he doesn't win that one also /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif ).
