Not moving up to $1/2 full-time but wanted to take a shot
just to feel it out.

FIRST HAND...no reads obviously

Figure this is more or less straight forward...
I had a 2+2'er sweating me and he agreed with this line.
Any objections would love to hear...next hand a little more interesting....

Believe this was played decently as well, so yeah, understandable theirs an adjustment when moving up to $1/2, I by no means am going up full-time, just figured a shot was worth while and wanting some comments.

basic, standard. why was the second hand supposed to be interesting?

took another glance and hand 1 could be a river c/call.

Both hands look perfect to me.

Hand 2 is incredibly standard /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Hand 1: First three streets are good IMO. Not sure whether to bet/call or check/call on the river. I think check/call might be best, although you would like to get value if he has J9 (which I'm not sure he does).

I think bet/call is probably good. His two hands at this point are J9 and a Tx, IMO, and x is just not likely enough to be a Q given the flop action IMO.

I doubt he's raising J9 on the river ever, and you no longer beat AT, KT, JT, or T9 just chop, there is only 1 8left in the deck so thats very unlikely, only a maniac is raising a Q on this river .. so you chop or lose when raised

check call

if the board didn't double pair, bet/call looks better
