Passive table, I've seen stuff like ATo limped from late, KQo from early, etc. Is this is a simple fold? QTs i play- maybe even raise?

Preflop: kfly is Button with T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls, 2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, Kfly...?

Next! Here's a river I was wondering. is this a good raise? i'd fold to a 3bizzle.Oh ya, and pf?

I fold preflop in both. If I play hand 2, I raise.

I fold the river. 4568Q isn't a board I like to try and get fancy with 2nd pair.

I call preflop in Hand 1 but I'm assuming they are LOOSE as well as passive. If they're only playing <20% of their hands I would fold. But as a default I call. You have the button.

Hand 1: Limp is fine.
Hand 2: I would raise this preflop and as the hand played out I would just call the river bet. It's very unlikely he has a queen and he's not folding a hand that beats top pair. The pot is also small.

in the second hand I really doubt he had a Q. I was raising for value on my 8, thinking he was betting a weaker pair (if you were too passive to bet the queen on the flop/turn you are too passive to bet it now that there is 4 to a straight on the board). If i was 3bet I was folding, since i figured that meant I was up against a 7.

It's an interesting idea, but I think I'd rather go for the less risky (and less expensive) overcall.

alright, that's why i posted it. in HUSH and small stakes they talk about raising the river and folding to a 3bet a lot and i never seem to know when its OK to do that in 2/4 and 3/6. is it ever? maybe not....

It probably is - heads up it would probably be a good play here if you think a worse hand would call the raise or a better hand would fold to one.
