View Full Version : Online 3/6 - Turn decision w/ AA under fire on coord board

Right in the middle of a 100bb downswing at the moment. Maybe this hand is indicative of my play.

MP is very aggressive and seems tight. I've seen him fight for pots with bet-fold and raise-fold on the river a few times. First 3-bet I've seen from him pf so far I think. EP is in his first orbit.

I open red aces in EP with an unknown limper behind me.
A 3-bet from MP, EP cold calls, I cap and they both call.

Flop is 89T rainbow.
EP bets, I raise, MP raises, EP caps. I call as does MP.

Turn is a Q. EP checks. I ______ ?

Comments appreciated.

Call down... Unless you're facing two cold anywhere...

I'm tempted to check here and see if it's 2 back. I'm not too worried about a free card (come on now, how much scarier could the board get? /images/graemlins/smile.gif) and there's a good chance that a bet here is not for value.

Flop is 89T rainbow.

Turn is a Q. EP checks. I bet /images/graemlins/confused.gif, MP raises, EP raises. I walk away from the PC and let the timeout fold me.

An ego bet at the spur of the moment, another BB lost for nothing. Thanks guys, just needed some confirmation on how bad my play was. I realize this isn't the most interesting hand in the world.
