How much $$ to bring

I know that there are a lot of these.....but...

I play in this game at the local indian casino..its 3-5 NL with a 10 come in. There is no max buy in, and the min is 200. Stacks range between 500-1k with a few 300's and a few 1.5-2k's. How much should I bring into this game? I usually buy in 500, but I assume that is not enough going against these stacks. I am TAG if that makes any difference.

Bring a few buyins. I usually bring 3. And the amount you buy in for should be determined by your skill level relative to the other players and their stack sizes. Generally, you want to just cover all worse players. The EV on dollars which can only be played against better players can't be too great.

It can actually hurt you a lot to be big stacked against agressive, solid other big stacks if you don't feel comfortable playing them, because they will put you to the test more often than you'd like.

Buy in for enough to cover everyone, and learn to deal with being put to the test etc. And bring 3 buy ins
