I shall be sunbathing in my sandless backyard this year. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well, since I march annually in the Labour Day parade in solidarity with my Union Brothers and Sisters, no, I will not be changing my plans. Obviously we use foot power for the march so no gas needed. However, we may have to scale back our post-parade activities and drive to a closer bar for refreshments.

You are seriously not going to the beach (or bay or lake or park or whatever else you had planned) because of $5 extra gas?

I know you live within 20 miles of the beach, that just seems silly.

My plans didn't include going anywhere anyways, but I know of at least one person not making a 600+ mile roundtrip because of it.

I was supposed to go with my wife to help the In-Laws move some stuff to a storage shed (they live about 1.5 hours from us).

Unfortunately, with gas prices out of control we are going to have to stay home this weekend instead /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Uhhh, I wouldn't sell out like that. That's pretty harsh. If you made plans, own up to them and go help. This is really sissy of you. It's one thing to "not make" plans, it's another to "ditch people in need".

That would be letting the terrorists win.

Not prices. Availability. I drove by 7 gas stations this afternoon with no gas. I wasn't really planning on going anywhere, but I really couldn't if I wanted to.
