Utg-3 is unknown, but mp is a rather solid player in this particular game. I am not entirely sure of his preflop range quite yet, but I know that if he is sticking around he must have something very solid.

That being said, I was torn about the river option.

1) Lead and and have the aggressor possibly raise facing the solid guy with 2 cold
or
2) The thing I did, c/r, thinking that the solid guy will call any number of bets given the pot size.
or
3) check, call.

I like what you did. UTG capping after it's raised and 3-bet behind him on the turn with 4 to a straight on the board makes me think he doesn't have a set.

I'd raise it because the onyl hnads that make sense are 44 and 84s based on the action.

(That means i like your check-raise /images/graemlins/wink.gif)

I too thought so, but when he 3-bet the river I couldnt bring myself to raise it again.

Yeah the river 3-bet changes my mind too. I wouldn't cap either.

Dont 33, 66, or 77 seem like possibilities? I think I would bet/call the river cause I really dont wanna be 3 bet on the river after I checkraise.
