Is this normal? I was used to free withdraws from poker sites, and sometimes I withdrew from sportsbooks it was free if I remember well. Isn't this a little bit expencieve, or is it ok for a sportsbook?

Most books give you one free withdrawal per month. CRIS does not, however. Also, the fee at CRIS goes up as you withdraw more money. I have pretty much stopped betting there because of the lack of free withdrawals. Of course, they don't really give a damn about the people that withdraw regularly because that usually means those people are winners.

one free neteller withdrawl a month and $15 after is the norm for most sportsbooks (and casinos and poker rooms attached to sportsbooks, unfortunately). in these cases, I wouldn't withdraw unless you absolutely needed the money, or wanted to deposit somewhere else to get a larger bonus to offset the $15 fee. otherwise, just leave it there and wait for something good to wager on, or maybe try an arb and lose it to another book.

I just needed to deposit 100$ to get an entry in a football prize pool. I didn't plan on betting on anything. I have another sportsbook where I occasionally bet. Deposited 2 weeks ago and withdrew it today to help me in clearing all these reload bonuses. Do poker sites really charge you when withdrawing?

sites that have JUST poker and/or casino? generally, no.
sportsbook only? definitely after the first free w/d each month.

sportsbooks generally don't expect players to move money back and forth from their accounts too much, especially during the middle of a season. also, their profit margins are probably smaller than poker/casino when you factor in the signup bonuses and other "reduced juice" promotions the frequently run. so things like Neteller which does in fact cost businesses fees to use, does factor into their operational expenses.

one advantage to withdrawing from sportsbooks vs. casino/poker is the cashout speed to Neteller. it is rare to have a reputable book take more than 24 hours to send the money back, any many of them will do it within 2-3 hours.

as for "hybrid" sites which offer both, it depends. just read the terms & conditions of each site, or ask customer support to clarify before making your first deposit.

for example, Bodog doesn't charge for any withdrawls. but Bet365 only gives one free per month.

Gee, I can't believe the sports book wouldn't pay the fees BOTH WAYS for a guy who bets ZERO DOLLARS and moves money around frivolously, not caring who pays the freight.

If I was the book, I would've charged you another $15, for the transfer that you sent them.
