Typing from HH

UTG 990
UTG+1 1610
MP1 835
MP2 635
MP3 1025
LP 975
CO 970
Button (hero) 980
SB 990
BB 990

Blinds: (5/10)
Preflop: Hero is dealt 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG calls 10, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, SB raises to 45, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls

Flop (t210) K/images/graemlins/club.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB bets 100, UTG calls 100, Hero calls 100

Turn (t510) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif
SB bets 250, UTG calls 250, Hero...

What's your line of action here?

Option 1: I raise, and I'm most likely going to isolate SB, and lose UTG.

Option 2: I call, and let SB bet into the river, and see if I can extract more chips out of UTG. Thus moving allin on the river rather than the turn.

Reads: UTG is a huge donkey

FWIW, I raised on the turn to 500, SB moved allin, and UTG folded.

Id move in on the turn. The pot is pretty big

Here I don't mind calling one more time.

EDIT, I like your min raise here also, both are good plays in my book.

I'd play it exactly the way you did.

Agreed. The flop is about as safe as you get to slow-play a set. But the pot is big and flush draws scare me (even back-door flush draws). Some donkey calls a raise out of position with A2 of clubs and sticks around with bottom pair, an overcard and a backdoor nut flush draw. Make him pay for that river.

Id push- stop people hitting things like higher set/flush etc - although i doubt your up against more than a pair of kings here.

Perfect. If it was the 3 of spades I'd probably just call but I like the minraise here - if UTG picked up a flush draw he will call all of this anyway and you'll get both their chips in now.

I like your play. If you just call, SB will most likely push the river. Which will make UTG fold unless he hit something huge like a flush. I'd min-raise like you did, hope both SB and UTG call. Then you're looking at a 3 way all in on the river.
