This is another one of those "Get fit or lose a ****load of money thread. My last 5K race, I ran it in 23:30. I am setting myself a goal of breaking 20 minutes by the end of September. If I do not, I will pay $1 to the first 100 people who reply in this thread. Only people with 50 posts or more by 9/1 will be eligible. I'll provide updates. Yay, now I'm motivated.

My cross country team was #3 in the nation. We were running 90 mile weeks.

If you do 50 mile weeks for 4 weeks you can do 19 minutes EASY! Dont forget no pop or junk food...and work out

I wonder how many people forgot about this. Or thought I wouldn't pay up. It just about 10/1/05 and I can tell you right now there is no chance in hell that I'll break this time. I was good for about a week, getting my running in. I really think I could have broken it. Then I came down with a cold that really put me out for about 10 days. After that I just lost motivation, which is what happens often to me. No motivation whatsoever.

Therefore, I lose. Those that posted (everyone who posted up until now is eligible as I'm pretty sure we didn't reach 100 new posters) can PM with me their Stars name and I will transfer the money. If you do not have a Stars name, or you don't PM me, I will just be sending that money to a charity organization. Thanks.
