Villian is 38/17/1.8. I have been involved in a few hands with him already where I either raised his blind or raised his button limp.

His re-raise pf is worrisome and is why I went into calling station mode. Should I have gone more aggressive here?

I assure you have the best hand. Sounds like this guy is getting sick of you, so I like raising the flop and letting him go nuts. Waiting to raise till the turn is good too. Calling down however, is no good.

I considered popping the turn - if I had done that and he re-raised do I go ahead and fold at that point or keep on trucking?

Do not fold this hand.

Raise the river. You have the best hand here so often. Waiting until the river is best because there are no real draws and the chance your opponent is on total air is very high and you don't want to lose him on the turn.
