Are you not raising the turn to get an extra bet on the river? Do you think he would fold to a reraise?

Also because he thinks he may be beaten. I like it.

The majority of the time this is like AA, KK, AK, sometimes it's AJ or AQ... I think checking the flop through is the play.

the preflop 3-bet, flop check/raise is a favorite with these guys so if dont feel like you can 3-bet a flop raise i like what you did.
