i think leading out would be the good play, but i wanted to keep the pot small, and when luckbox bet, i knew he had a Q-- i want the pot small...

With all the details you provided on this hand it is very easy to give you an answer.

You're thinking the fast play to disguise that your hand really is a monster here, right? If that's your drift, then yes. Make it look like a probe bet.

Never go broke in an unraised pot.

When playing against someone else who 'knows' your style of play, yes you should definately disguise your strategy. One way to do that is to NOT smooth call, but raise-call. Another important factor to keep in mind is that in general, I think it's wise to play trips (don't read a set) pretty fast. It's just too easy to end up with the 2nd best hand without knowing it because of too slow of play.

Generally speaking, action dries up very fast on dangerous boards in SnGs. I like playing hands like this fast on the flop and it seems to work out pretty well.
