New Orleans Relief Challenge

Hello all:

I have many friends and family that are in New Orleans and I would like to appeal to my STT family for help. Certainly any direct donations to the RED CROSS (http://www.redcross.org/donate/donate.html) or SALVATION ARMY (http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/) would be great but I thought a challenge might make helping others fun so....

A: donate the 1st $50 you win today to one of the above charities

B: donate the 1st hours worth of winnings to one of the above charities

I have no opinion as to which is better. Also make your intentions public as this may encourage others to follow suit. that's all

With a 20% ROI at the $5 & $10's, I don't think a day or hours earnings will help.

But I gave $50 to the Red Cross yesterday. I hope you generate a good response to this.

The folks in the zoo are one step ahead. They've organized a tourney fund-raiser with help from Paridise - with an alternate method to donate fund-matching $$'s if you can't play.

If I play today, the first $100 I make I'll give to the red cross, in addition to the money I'm going to give anyway.

However if I play and lose, I expect some random group of homeless people from NO to send me money.
