Limit Omaha H/L

I know that i hold'm I can play tables with 32% flops if I have to (not that I like it). And I have found that at the levels I have been starting in (1/2) 50% is not uncommon, I have also seen that in 2/4 38% is the norm??

So the question is - what is a tight table and where do they start limit wise.

I've been playing about 24% flops outside of the blinds - is this loose?

Tight tables are the ones where you don't see a flop. Raise and fold stuff.

You are in the right ballpark.

Tables around 50% VPIP. As you can imagine, we've had extensive conversations about correct VPIP levels.

24 sounds fine...but don't be afraid to throw away that SB junk. Those hands can cost you money because they hit the flop just close enough to get you in trouble.

Have fun,

I'd say a tight table is 32% or below VPIP. You'll sometimes see them as low as 3/6 and 2/4. Don't play in this game. There are far too many good games to waste your time in that stuff.

Also, most good players have a VPIP between 16 and 24%. I also have a handful of very successul players in my database that play around 32% of hands (with over 2000 hands). That's quite a range, suggesting omaha8 is still a game with much more uncertainty about correct preflop play as opposed to hold'em.
