On the flop he paused for a decent amount of time before calling 2, he isnt overly loose so I'd expect to see a king here.

Based on his preflop call and the fact that he isnt that loose his range would be something like K6-KJ meaning I should check behind right?

someone this loose could call the flop with QJ or AQ or something else as well as possibly having some mid pair. I think this is an easy river bet.

Personally, think the long flop pause suggest he hasn't got a King, but I guess he could be debating the merits of call/raise.

I would bet this. I think you see 99 or A3 often enough, especially if you have recently been caught semi-bluffing or whatever.

He isnt that loose and he has to respect that I just checked raised a preflop 3bettor.

Then call 2 more when the 3bettor could potentially trap him for another bet.

I'd bet. It looks a lot like a low PP to me, and if he's called this far, he's calling the river too. 23x looks like a decent board to 55 and such.

I think a check would be best here. SB could easily have played KTs or KJs this way, simply calling two on the flop to see how BB reacts to the raise. If he 3-bets he allows BB to escape easily with pairs under kings which have 2 outs. He could also have a pair, but calling two cold on the flop, calling after the queen hits on the turn and then calling the river would be pretty awful. I don't think you're winning half the time he calls.

I think this is a pretty easy value bet. I cant think of many hands that beat you that call and dont threebet your flop raise, but can think of quite a few that you beat that will call. This really looks like an A3 A2 or lower pp.

Thats what I thought. Against a looser player who will calldown with PPs and Ace high this is an easy value bet.

However this guy wasnt overly loose.

Anyway I thought for a few seconds and bet anyway (as i do) and got shown K8
