I'd rather limp in &amp; go from there. 66 makes too many scare cards when you miss your set. When this type of flop hits you can lead the flop or if you feel your opponents are going to bet garbage flops with overs, you can C/R.

I don't really like the check on the river either.

Is there really any value in it (betting the river), especially after an undercard pairs?

Have you played 3/6? You are getting called down by A-hi here very often. I have been called here with Q10o plenty of times as well.
