Many of the below comments/questions have been covered before.Please indulge this post, I appreciate it.
A while back I decimated my bankroll with a combination of tilty play,multi tabling and
oh yeah a little 200NL (for which I did not have the BR). If you really want the gory
details you can look at THIS (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=singletable&Number=2745915 &Forum=,,,,All_Forums,,,,&Words=&Searchpage=3&Limi t=25&Main=2745915&Search=true&where=&Name=27362&da terange=&newerval=&newertype=&olderval=&oldertype= &bodyprev=#Post2745915) and THIS (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=singletable&Number=3041561 &Forum=,All_Forums,&Words=&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&M ain=3041561&Search=true&where=&Name=27362&daterang e=&newerval=&newertype=&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyp rev=#Post3041561)

After all of that I decided the following.

1. I would start a new SNG tracker database so I felt like I had a "fresh start"
2. I would play $11s until I got BR to go to $22s
3. I would play a total of 500 SNGs and post the results regardless of what they looked like.

so...

500 tournaments

ROI = 21%
ITM = 40%
Profit = $2032

Finish Distrib.

1st 13.5%
2nd 14.25%
3rd 11.75%
4th 9.5%
5th 13.75 (?????)

My questions are...(sigh..flame throwers low please)

1. Do these stats suggest that I'm ready for $33s?
2. Any suggestions as to the high number of 5th place finishes? (bubble% +/- is +7%)
3. Should I quit my job/wife/gay lover and become a professional poker player?
4. Is pokerprophecy real?
5. Should I buy bot software and kill the game?
6. Am I ready to play 843873271271919034 tables at the same time?

ok the last 4 were just for giggles and to see how long it takes Citanul to come out of his cave /images/graemlins/smile.gif

In the absence of any real advice I plan to continue playing $22s until I have 1000 and then re-evaluate.
Might consider 8 tabling $22s instead of going up to $33s.

Your BR is about 3K? I'd take a 30 buy in shot at the 33's and see how it goes.

I'm pretty new to this forum, but I don't get what the big deal is about moving up. I think the main question (considering you have the bankroll and the stats, although not the sample size since it takes like a year to get a good sample) is how much money are you comfortable playing for and why are you playing.

I, for example, am a pansy who plays $5+.50s and occasionally a scary $10+1 despite the fact that I've built up about $2.5k from poker in general. I don't really have a problem with that.

1) Go to the 33s. They're not scary.
2) Learn how to 8-table, go back to the 22s for that.
3) Move back to the 33s
???????
10)Profit.

Didn't I see you in the 11s when I was rebuilding at the same time? Just move up. If you ever think about it, or wonder about it, just do it. You've proved you can rebuild, so what's the worst that could happen? Take a shot.

No need to bump this post every 30 minutes. You have your answers anyway.

2+2'ers that have earned more respect than I will correctly tell you that a trial of 500 SnG's is "drivel"...But you know that? Right?....5,000 might constitute a statistically-relevant sample & give you a true picture of your ability.

Now for the statement the will draw all of the "Skipper-Haters" out of their holes....---> THE LOW STAKES SnG'S CAN'T BE BEAT /images/graemlins/mad.gif /images/graemlins/mad.gif There!...I said it in public!
There are too many nitwits & they will be eternally replaced by other nitwits from an infinitely-large pool of other nitwits.

You will run good...You will run bad....It's a coin-race with the house taking 10%...THE HOUSE GETS IT ALL EVENTUALLY

Good Luck

Can it be fake? I'll give you my PT for the like 20 or so 10+1s I played on PP before deciding I prefer bodog, which doesn't have text HHs, does that count?

You have the bankroll to play the 33's and will probably beat them for almost as much (ROI) as you beat the 22's. You should move up to $33 tables I'm not playing.

2. Yeah. Stop losing all you chips when it's 5-handed. Derr.
