thelegend.. if you ever want anyone to take you seriously.. think before you make a post. im not tryin to be a hardass or a prick or anything.. but you ask if u got unlucky when the guy hit runner runner on you. of COURSE you got unlucky. so what. if i made a post about every time i got pwnd, i would have about 1325098230198592058929589 posts. load up the next sng. nice call, cant do anything about it, move on. holla

what he said. no more bad beat posts please. unless you happen to meet someone who's never ever had a bad beat before, in which case, knock yourself out and impress him with your travels.

yes. i no longer use this move unless i have around 5-7. people play their flops so bad, and will be willing to get it in with bottom pair. take a flop and try to double up, or make a tiny bet when checked to. much safer. holla

I didn't say behind did I /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

But yes, I realize that Hero is in the BB. He still has 9.25xBB or so.

Anyway....I'd push this preflop no matter what Raptor says.

As for the flop, the OP should call postflop as aces raise from the SB there.

yeah i think i push here preflop every time, unless i have a reason to believe that i'm screwed.

the thing that's odd is that people DON'T always raise any ace here. bad opponents just don't do it.

also, some people tend to limp their bigger aces, hoping you'll try to push them off them.

in general though, i think that a lot of villains who aren't very good have a big problem playing heads up in the blinds, and particularly when their stack hasn't gotten into that scary part yet, so you've got like 11-14 bb or so...

I've never had bad beef. (bad as in spoiled, not poorly prepared)
Maybe a pork sausage that was a bit iffy, never bad beef. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is there a bad limp, bad push, bad call, bad beat option?

08-30-2005, 07:22 PM
Okay, wasn't really a bad beat story, was wondering if i did something wrong. The outcome is/isn't important at the same time. Bad result, but was more looking for feedback if my call was incorrect, or like you said earlier. Push preflop. Just kinda looking for some feedback
