This is shaping up to be a very bad year. A few months ago I lost a good friend after a long illness, I have another good friend with a brain tumor that's not responding to chemo and yesterday another good friend died in a horrible construction accident. Only 55 years old, way too young.

This guy was one of the nicest people that you could ever meet. He was always smiling, always in a good mood, had no enemies, everyone liked him.

He loved to play low limit stud at Foxwoods and you could never tell if he was winning or losing as he had the same expression for both. He loved to play poker and would make instant friends with everybody at the tables, chatting away and having a good time.

Damn shame. RIP Bobby.

Sorry for your loss.

Sometimes it helps to focus on the good that can come from all trials in life.

For instance, you probably are, and will continue to be, a better person for knowing each of them.

Best wishes...

Did he have a thick Boston accent? Sounds like someone I've played with several times at FW.

Isn't it strange how the best people seem to have the worst luck? I've only lost one close friend and he was definitely the most kind hearted and universally like person out of all my friends.

sorry for your loss.

I'm sad to hear of your bad year. I had one like that once, things did get better with time. Hang in there and good luck.
