So, i dont raise with tens usually, maybe its the move, i dont know, i play really tight aggressive, but at these limits, i find it to be +ev, playing tens for set value (and undercards with not much action of course)

So, in this spot i dont have any reads on my opponent, but with an all in, and a caller - i thought it was a correct lay.

Comments please /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not raising with tens preflop isn't tight aggressive, its weak tight.

As played, I probably fold the flop, unless I know villain real well and know he might do this with just AK/AQ (or perhaps worse?). Against a normal player, your tens are likely toast.

If you don't feel that a raise with your tens will fold out many hands taking into account how the table is playing I think it's fine playing it for set value. I will limp this in the very loose games I play sometimes as my raise is likely to still get 3 or more players to the flop. Playing a flop with any overcards is difficult with that many callers.

I also lay down my tens here...

Thnx for the replies. This was infact a very VERY loose game, and the all in mover showed A /images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif

He lost however, the all-in caller held 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
