Always bet at least close to the size of the pot if your going to bet. If you have a chance to win you want to eliminate drawing hands whenever possible. Check if your going to check. But if you bet make it count.

Why do we want to fold out worse hands?

I find bluffing bad hands in small stakes mainly backfires. You can get away with it at times and I do so occassionaly. Folding is the key to poker. Fold your bad hands most of the time. Fold soon, not on the river. it will save you alot of money in the long run.

Good point. I also have a thought, I'd like to see what you think. The key to poker is to have the better hand at the river. This is the key to winning, otherwise we're wasting money.

Thats not true, I would like drawing hands to call, but I would like them to have inadequate odds to do so.
If every time they call, they are making a mistake, then I win.
