1st b&m tournie

Hi all

I've been playing poker for 6 mounths online,thought I would give the local casino a whirl. Pot limit HE, 7 tables started got down to the final 6 players, WOW extremly happy. Blinds are 2000 and 4000, I have 7000 I am 2nd to act, I am smallest stack largest is about 40000 average about 28000. Basicaly the game seems to be about stealing the blinds thats why I am so short stacked. UTG raises, I have Jh Kh and push all in she turns over A Q os and wins. My questions are:
1. Dubious call but my reasoning is that people have been stealing the blinds with crap all day and the blinds were coming round pretty quick

2. HELP need some advice on this sort of game, short handed, huge blinds very rarely seeing the flop

Any constructive comments would be greatly appreciated

You probably didn't notice they were stealing much more from late position than from middle.

Anyway, being so short stacked you can bearly survive one round of blinds, so if you don't win this hand, then next one (UTG), or the BB, you need to survive a couple-three hands next round. So pretty much you need to take a stand with a reasonable hand, and KJs looks pretty good in spite of the raise in front of you, even though you are probably beat.

The other reasonable option is to fold this hand figuring to raise UTG with almost anything hoping to steal and survive another round.
