So I've got poker tracker importing all the emails I get from SNG's on Party. But it seems to me that it is not working properly. I'm sorta new to Tracker so if im doing something wrong/stupid/donkish don't be too hard on me.

The problem:
I import 8 emails from party and after its done i only see the # of tournaments played increase by like 2. I chcked the preferences tab and there is nothing limiting any games.
Tournament dates is set to "all dates"
buy in amount in set to all
Sites set to party and afiliates
etc

any help would be much appreciated

pokertracker not only has a support email address, but a support forum of its own.

I often have the same problem. Usually, I am not looking at my correct user name or there is something wrong with the tourney summaries which you have to correct manually.

I imagine you have to manually enter the tournament summaries, and so it's only adding games you finish top 2 in.

I play on party poker and was advised that ALL third party software is forbidden. Personally I don't think tracking software poses that big of a threat but could its use get you banned? I carry a decent roll and do not want it seized on suspicion of cheating but am interested in stat tracking. How safe is using tracking software?

if this worries you this much, just don't run the stat tracking package while you run the poker client.

LOL..That seemed to easy. Stupid question #2 for the day. How detectable are these programs?

fairly detectable, all depends what they update their softare to detect... very detectable if they log in to your machine and take screen shots.
