The Firefox extension Abe Vigoda Status (now 2.1).

I am comforted by the little box in the lower right hand of my browser, which reassures me at all times that Abe Vigoda is still alive.

For a while I had the Terri Schiavo status thingy installed. It did the same thing as the Abe Vigoda one but, like, for Terri Schiavo.

No, Tessio did not die at the end of Godfather 2. Additionally, Hyman Roth did not die in Godfather 1, Sonny Corleone did not die in Godfather 3, and Vito Corleone did not die in Goodfellas.
