This is from memory so chip stacks will be estimates:
PP 33, Level 5

UTG: 2800
Hero: 2800
SB: 1500
BB: 900

UTG is playing very aggressive, using his chip stack to buy a lot of pots.

UTG raises to 600
Hero has AKo.

Do I just suck it up and go all-in or fold and coast to the money?

I would push this pretty much every time. SnG players don't get house broken without some tough love.

The above quote makes this an easy push, IMO. We are the 2+2'ers...we are the ones that need to be pushing the table around with our large stacks. This guy's stack is equal to yours, shortie only has to double-up once for folding into the money to be far from a sure thing, and you've got a premium holding. Put HIM to the test, and play for first. POOOOOOSSSSSHHHHH.

Almost never the right choice, especially when the short stacks have plenty of chips to play.

this is an insta-push everytime.

there is a very high likelihood your hand is best, given the player description.

even if he has a middle pair against which you would be a flip, he is going to be hard-pressed to call off all of his chips with it.

another factor that hasn't been pointed out yet is that the majority of times, you will push and he will fold. but now with the chips you pick up from that pot you will clearly be in the strongest chip position and should be able to bully your way to a healthy chip advantage during the bubble.

good one! I pushed and he called with AQo. Fortunately, he didn't suck me out any me monitor still functions. I did call him a dipxxxx, though - and felt guilty afterwards. I was suffering through a bad beat streak and was angry that he made me sweat with such a dumb hand. I promise not to berate the fish anymore.

As for your question Cha, the dilema wasn't the hand, it was the risk/reward ratio.
