BB and button is pretty loose.
Villian is 37/6.7/5.1 and seems not too horrible.

Id just call that 25 raise and see a turn.

hhhhhmmmmm.... tough spot for sure.

I'm thinking a call and re-evaluate on the turn. a /images/graemlins/diamond.gif would probably slow him down, and may even buy a free card for you.

If the board pairs, this hand plays itself.

Man I don't like anything right now though. A 5 aggression factor means he could probably do this with as little as 85, especially in 6-max.

Either call or make it 70, and push any turn. I'm leaning towards a call and re-evaluate.

You call.
What's your plan on the turn for a:
6s
Kd
2h

If villian pushes or checks?

Just to be an alternative voice...

without a real read (has he done this kind of move before?)... if this was a tricky player, the underbet on the flop is asking for a reraise... and now he's overbetting with his monster.

I could see someone doing this with a flopped straight who's worried about a flush draw. (or possibly a different set)

I think the poster needs to provide more info on the villain besides "not too horrible."

Everyone says call... I want to push the flop. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Especially with an aggression factor of 5... this guy could have two pair, JJ-99, a set of 4s, even a flush draw.

What kind of card are you looking for on the turn? Do you guys plan on pushing the turn if a harmless card falls?

Hero has 5/images/graemlins/club.gif 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (three of a kind, fives).
Outcome: SB wins $312.40. Hero wins $38.15.

I didn't give villian enough credit, and felt the turn would be very hard to play, so I just pushed.
I also felt that villian might call with hands worse then mine here, overpairs come to mind.
Still not sure what to do on the turn if I would just call his RR though.
